One Snowy Rescue Hardcover – Touch and Feel, September 1, 2015

Love this book, great for kindergarten classes. I wore the red hat with a hedgehog on top!

Throughout this adorable read there's a furry hat to feel on each page, which added an extra element of fun to the tale. I love how cute all the characters look, and the children of the local primary school where I give the children's books I'm unable to keep loved the look of this winter read too.This is the first time I've heard of the Little Hedgehog series – he is an adorable character, along with Mouse and the others, who I'm looking forward to sharing more adventures with. They look out for each other and take care in the winter weather. Even though I read this in the warm, I could feel the cold as Little Hedgehog went on his search, which has a happy ending.I received a copy from the publisher in exchange for an honest review on my blog Nayu's Reading Corner [...]

Little Hedgehog gets snowed in and immediately thinks of his friend Mouse and wonders if she is ok. He heads out to go check on her but because of all the snow he encounters a few problems along the way. Luckily, he is wearing his bright red hat which stands out against the snow and luckily his friends Rabbit, Fox, and Badger are looking out for each other!This is great choice to read with your little ones while snuggled up inside during a snowstorm. The pictures are great and it is a "touch and feel" book so on every page you can find and feel the fuzzy red hat that Hedgehog is wearing. There is a nice lesson about the importance of friends helping each other- recommended for sure!

I love Christina Butler's books. I read them to my grandchildren and now to.My great grandson. There is a moral to most of her stories. Perfect for little children.
