I use them in clear holders which look much better and give more light than with opaque-cup tealights. Burn time is as described.These do not burn as brightly as the petroleum-based wax I used to use. Not sure if this is a difference with soy wax or for some other reason.I do recommend them for mood lighting, but not for emergencies. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Last about 5-6 hours *by M***N on Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on January 29, 2014* The candles are great. They arrived in perfect condition, packed well, quick delivery!. Very pleased with all that...I was hoping that the tea lights would last a little longer. These last about 5-6 hours in my tea light holders. The tea lights by Soyworx last about 3-5 hours longer in the same holders (all conditions the same). Cuddles tea lights (individually) are less expensive than those by Soyworx -- as of my purchase of each (within 1 month of each other) the cost of one tea light (including shipping) comes out to: 41 cents for Cuddles vs 70 cents for Soyworx. If you compare cost per average hour burned, both candles cost a little over 7 cents an hour = basically the same cost for the same burn. Both candles are soy way in a clear container. Both candles have a relatively small flame. Both are unscented. Both give a nice clean burn. The only difference I've found is the burn time.I guess that it all depends upon what you are looking for. I see that a lot of people who buy tea lights want them for a special occasion, like a wedding reception or party. For me, I'm home most of the time and frequently burn a tea light from start to finish without extinguishing it. I'm finding that the Cuddles tea lights go out before I'm ready, so I either end up without a lit candle later at night or starting another one... So, if your needs are for a burn of no more than 5 or 6 hours, the Cuddles are great. However, if your needs are for a longer burn, Soyworx are a better deal.Added several days later: As I use more of the Cuddles tea lights, I am finding that the wicks are frequently not centered. With the Soyworx tea lights, I believe that all 50 wicks were centered.
