The humidity levels during winter months are horrific - below 20% most days, which makes for a very uncomfortable and symptoms-producing environment. We experienced dry, cracked, itchy skin, nose bleeds upon waking, and plants that constantly wilted within days of watering. We installed humidifiers to address this situation, but had to fill these up twice in 24 hours, making us feel like water-maids.
