Aestheticaly the light is everything the pictures and other reviewers note: beautiful, even elegant. The remote works as advertised and adds to the charm.HOWEVER the installation design is a mess. For no reason that I can see the fixture bracket isn't designed to mate with a standard ceiling outlet plate but rather uses a clumsy design that requires drilling holes in the ceiling plaster. To make matters worse, if you use the supplied expansion anchors and screws (which I did) they're poorly sized so the screws work loose from the anchors and the whole fixture detaches from the ceiling (which mine did after a few days), requiring a reassembly and jury rig to fix. Aughh! None of this is explained in the instructions. Aughh again!
