The builder said the threads were neither deep nor long enough to support its weight as it's quite heavy for single wall bracket fixture. Was a bit disappointed considering the price of the item. We didn't have time to exchange it, so the solution came in the form of silicon filling into the threads and additional wall bracket on a side. It's now very sturdy and supports double curtain weight. Size-wise it's perfect for a 90×90 shower tray.
