Review: GREAT STICKS! - Good price for these. I used promark's shira kashi oak 2b nylon tips for about 20 years. I bought a pair of these and immediately knew I was going to use these from now on. They are heavy enough to know you're hitting hard, but are light and airy enough to be a lightweight stick. Might be the hickory used compared to the promark's oak ones, but I have completely switched to this stick for playing punk and metal drums. I have about 8 pairs of these so far.
Review: Balance between speed, control, sound and reliability. - I've been playing drums for over 13 years, tried out every brand of every detail you might think of. I've used a ton of different brands and models of drumsticks from the ProMark 2B's to the Regal Tip Deaths and even all the way to the STLs. But for some reason I always found myself going back to these. Truth be told, they do feel great, sound great, they offer great amounts of speed with awesome control, I really dig the attack and articulation the nylon tip offers, not to mention the part that the tip has never broken on me, unlike the wood tip. That being said considering that some people who have heard me play say that I kill the drums every time I hit them, and if that's true, these are a heck of a pair of sticks since my last pair I bought well over a year ago and they still keep on going and are even in good shape. Overall, I highly recommend these if you're looking for a solid, heavy stick. If you're looking for something lighter any other Vic Firth nylon tip will work great. Contrary to what some people might say, never has the tip flown away on me.

## Features

- Great stick for heavier rock, band, and practice

Trying out for rock-band use, working well for me. Vic Firth has always made the highest-quality sticks, mallets, and other percussion gear.
