I'm 5ft4 and it's just the right length although I rolled up the legs a bit anyway as like that look. Some said they wanted baggy, it is in the middle but I think if you are short may look Tellytubby-esk if too baggy if you sized up and the crutch may be too low which would look odd. It's easy enough to get on & off, just lean forward to fling the straps over your shoulders & hook back in & knot lightly. Didn't come undone and is comfy to wear all day. Don't need to iron really unless you want to make more cotton than linen look, but I can't be bothered personally. I've washed it more than once & it's been fine & colour still true. Happy I finally took the chance as have wanted one for months, now ordering a black one too (got the Khaki)! Update black one same, same size and quality so all good.
