I have found, however, that the backing does not peel off easily. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 1/8 inch thick works well, in contrast to 1/4 inch. *by F***K on Reviewed in the United States on January 24, 2022* I have purchased both 1/8 inch thickness and 1/4 inch from the same company. The former was easy to cut, and very importantly, easy to peel off the paper and expose the adhesive. Works well. The 1/4 inch thickness adhesive- backed felt was maddening! Peeling off the paper was a tedious, time-consuming, and often unsuccessful project despite the careful use of tweezers, a sharp edge, etc., as the paper seemed glued to the felt. That is, pulling the paper off tended to pull the adhesive off with it, leaving a 1/4 inch felt pad with no adhesive at all, at least with the roll I purchased. ### ⭐⭐ Adhesive is unusable! *by D***N on Reviewed in the United States on June 6, 2022* The material seems OK, BUT, the adhesive is unusable because you can't separate the paper from the roll to stick it on a surface.
