I, unlike many of the people who got it for free to review, paid for the watch myself. Metal bands never really worked with me because of my arm hair but I figured for $15 I couldn't go wrong with trying. Well, this one was no different. It tugged on my arm hair and was very painful. I really liked the face of the watch and figured I would give a NATO band a shot. I got myself a "James Bond" NATO band and voila. This watch gets tons of compliments all of the time. Even if this watch was $50, it would still be a very good buy. The bracelet is good for thick wrists. It has two locking mechanisms, so it will not snap open. The watch is comfortable to wear, no nicks, picks, or pinching. It is also pleasing to the eyes, and easy to tell time. It is quite water resistant as I splashed water with the hose several times to no detriment at all. Time keeping is the usual quartz, very good. It is also just right in size and thickness. Not to thick, and not too big. I would buy this watch for a gift. An excellent buy! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Better Way to Shorten Band *by S***E on November 5, 2016* I had to shorten the wrist band and saw that people were having a tough time with the pins. Instead of trying to hammer out the pins (which I couldn't do either), use a screwdriver or awl or similar to pry back the fingers on the chain links, remove the links you want, then push the fingers back down on the pin. Take a look at the picture to see what mean.It was pretty quick to pry, pull out the links, then fold the fingers back down.
