We bought a second and it was great too. They soak up a lot of water and they can be machine washed and dried. The backing is waterproof so you have to very loosly roll it up with the fabric to the outside to put it in the wash or dryer otherwise the spinning force will push the water back into the rug because the water can't pass through the backing. if you wash it with the fabric out though it works great. Needless to say I immediately threw the rug away & willl never buy it again! Very disappointed!
