Beautiful wooden secret compartment box with excellent carved details. Extremely easy to figure out so instructions are not necessary and a neat touch is the nice felt lining inside. I used this to hide a gift card at Christmas but it's a great "hide-a-gift" idea anytime. You're giving 2 gifts in 1, the box itself and the gift inside (awesome) The receiver loved it!!! Very happy with my purchase.

Looks good and does the purpose. The sliding dowel is a little loose which is why i didnt give 5 stars. But for the price you cant go wrong.

    Needed some TLC

The finish on the bottom of the heart and on the little slide-in piece was messed up.  We ended up sanding the bottom and little piece, lightly stained them, then refinished them.  WAY too much work for this little box, but we couldn't use it as a gift box the way it was.  The top of the box is very pretty, but the quality of the finish was uneven.
