Most major apps at the Google play store will not install directly. Prepare to learn how to download and install .APK files from a thumb drive. You have to install XBMC Launcher to use the XBMC player as the media player dashboard (you could try SBMC player also). 5Ghz wireless is not enabled for Amazon versions!!! KeeDox support told me this by e-mail and is supposed to change the specs on Amazon. 2.4Ghz WiFi is capped at 65 Mbps, just enough for 1080p streaming video. Also HDMI 1.4b does not have enough bandwidth for real 4K video. THE GOOD: 1080p playback is very good via XBMC, Netflix video looks as good as on a Samsung Blu-Ray player, all the keys on an IO-Gear mini WiFi keyboard were recognized, HDMI pass-through sound works and is nice, it got 29300 Antutu score, and the Chrome browser on TV was a treat! BUT: I returned it for lack of 5Ghz WiFi then purchased a Tronsmart Orion R28 instead.
