## Description

Liatris ‘Floristan Violet’ has attractive tall spikes of violet flowers in summer, from July to September. Plants grow to a height of 75-90cm and are good for borders and containers. They attract butterflies into the garden, and are popular cut and dried flowers. This Liatris grows best in full sun and moist well drained soil – it will tolerate part shade. It is drought resistant once established. Sow in spring to autumn in a tray of seed compost. Keep at 15-20 degrees Celcius during the day and cooler at night, and germination takes 3-4 weeks, sometimes up to two months. Sowing instructions and a colour photo are printed on the packet.
