I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of these pens. They come very well packaged and each pen is sealed individually in a plastic wrap for security of any paint leakage. My children (Ages 11 and 12) found it easy to use. The colors are bright and the fine tip allows you to really define details on projects. I like that they dried fairly quickly and the colors did not run.I do recommend to push pen little by little to get the right amount of paint on the tip so it doesn't run over. The kids and I are looking forward to other paint projects because of the ease of use of these pens. I decided to hold off on a review as I wanted to give them a try and see what they could do! I was excited to recieve them! They came quick! They were all in a very neat, compact box. The markets are individually wrapped. After unwrapping and unboxing I decided to prime them. I got paper and counted to about 30 for each paint marker. The first time the paint came out in bit of a puddle. I suggest you prime then to advoid that puddle on paper like I did. I tested them on rocks, squishys, a canvas, metal, a plastic unicorn horn that I made gold! These are amazing paint pens! They really are nice quality! I have found any surface I try them on that it works! It stays on, the colors are nice and bold! I have tried writing, drawing, dots, ect. And I found they really are versatile! I am a big crafter! I'm big on DIY! I would defiently recommend these to any crafters! I would buy these again! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.0 out of 5 stars Test them first, but usable for many kinds of projects. *by C***E on Reviewed in the United States on March 31, 2020* I got these acrylic paint pens because I am a moderate crafter. I am by no means a pro with paint, but I’ve dabbled enough that I figured they’d be a good addition to my crafting arsenal. I primarily wanted to use them for detailed rock painting, detail work on glass surfaces, paper and canvas detail.My initial thoughts were that the pens were easy to initiate, (you have to push the pens down a few times to get the flow of paint). After a few pushes, the paint flows very easily, almost too easily. The paint is very liquid, which makes sense considering its medium. However, I found that in a few situations it was TOO liquid and some of the colors were rather transparent, needing several coats to achieve a solid color. That said, some colors were very pigmented and only needed 1 coat.On rocks, they were easy to use, unless the rock had even a mildly rough surface. Especially in the yellow pen, there was a fair amount of splatter. This was a bit ironic as the yellow was transparent without a couple of coats, but splattered at even the slightest bump.On glass, these pens are a dream! With the more solid colors I used them to write over the glass on a photo and it came out adorably! It’s actually my favorite use for this medium that I found.On paper, unless it needed just a single coat (please dry fully between coats if more are needed) it’s too liquid and warps the paper.On canvas, it becomes a competition between the acrylic paint in the pen and the acrylic paint you’re using on your project. Unless you want to blend them with the wet colors of your project or let it dry fully before using the pens for detail work they’re more a hindrance than a help.I think that overall these pens are easy to initiate and for small projects are a great tool for details and small accents. For larger projects and for anything you need true pigmentation, they might pose a challenge and perhaps need an experienced hand to get the look you want.KEEP PAPER AT YOUR SIDE! Having extra paper to control the flow of how much paint is coming out is particularly important in this product. Sometimes you get a little too much if you press too hard and wiping excess paint isn’t always an option.Best uses: I would say smooth rocks, glass, and small detail work on canvas or paper. Pretty much anything very smooth works well. I’m not sure that they can replace detail brushes and thicker paint that you control the liquidity of. They are not perfect for beginners, but with experience I can see how they’d be a great tool. I also would recommend them for children because the mess factor, while still there, is much less than leaving a kid alone with a paint pallet full of paint.
