**Q: How Sturdy is it? I put a lot of pressure on the canvas with my brush.**
A: I think it’s quite sturdy. My canvases are medium to small size. It might not be super sturdy if you’re using a really big canvas.

**Q: How many boxes is this easel shipped in?**
A: One and the pieces were beautifully crafted

**Q: How flat can it fold?**
A: It cannot fold flat once assembled due to the drawer.

**Q: What are the dimensions of the bottom arm (the horizontal piece that holds the work)? Specifically, what depth of work (how thick) can it hold?**
A: I just started learning, but I use stretched store bought canvases & have to put a 1"X behind it or the canvas falls down inside the groove.. It might be supposed to do that, as I said, I'm VERY new to painting.

Solid, well made easel! Takes a little while to put together but all pieces fit just right, the parts were all there and when finished a nice solid unit. NOTE - follow the instructions from 1 to 8 carefully - that way you won't have to take things apart to put in a piece you forgot!!
