Review: A necessity to have - Best skin barrier ever. No sting Review: So easy to use, and they are the 3ml size. - My insurance does not cover this item, they only pay for the adhesive pads. I used these during my hospital stay, they were so nice. I have used the adhesive wipes before, and was not very impressed with them. Having basically an adhesive applicator shaped like a small lollipop makes stoma changes easier. I use one side for the first pass close to the stoma, and the other side to make a second pass at the outer edge of the first. My appliance usually stays attached for 6-7 days, with no issues. We tried other products when my husband had to have a urostomy in 2016, when our daughter, who is a NICU nurse told us about cavilon skin barrier, we tried and have been using it since, to me is expensive but worth it.
