It is nicely packed to ensure no moulding. The quality is great and my rabbit loves the taste since he now eats twice as much hay as he used to! The price was cheaper than pet store hay and it was delivered to my door (no more going out to buy hay). My only complaint is that my rabbit likes it too much and will probably eat way more hay now making me buy more than I used to so I haven't really saved money in that respect. So, I got the Standlee Hay (timothy) 10 lbs box and I am very happy with it. It was not the freshest hay ever, but it was definitely better (like 10 times better) than any Living world hay that I could buy at the pet store. The Standlee hay was greenish, lightly yellow, and it came in long strays with barely any ''dust'' at the bottom of the box. I can tell you, it is worth the money. My rabbit barely touched the Living world hay but now he eats everything in the feeder.I am sure you can get fresher hay from a local farmer but I live in the city and this option was the best for me.
