These are the thin waxed shoelaces as often seen on dress shoes. So, if you're looking for something more substantial in diameter (hopefully, that's NOT what she said), you'll need to look elsewhere. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good laces for my red leather dress shoes *by G***S on October 15, 2018* I've never bought shoelaces before. These turned out to be a happy choice.I didn't realize shoelaces had to be the right thickness for your shoe. These turned out to be just right for a dress shoe. The 28" length was good too. The red color (I think it was something like "Firebird Red" ) wasn't the vibrant cherry red I'd hoped for. It was more like a tomato soup red. I decided that my shoelaces that had worn out most closely look like Dark Brown, and I took a stab at it thinking I could always return them. The other factor I worried about was that the laces would be too waxy and stiff, but these laces have definitely met expectations. The color matched perfectly, the thickness is essentially the same as my original laces, and the texture is quite comfortable, they don't feel particularly waxy to me.
