It arrived in time for my last minute trip and it's adorable. It holds as much as a small day pack and it was very comfortable to wear. I packed two 32oz water bottles, snacks, energy gummies, wipes, hand sanitizer, chap stick, electrolyte powder, a camera, phone, small wallet, etc. This is a TARDIS bag! There are two zipper pockets down the front and a small hidden zipper pocket inside the larger compartment. 10/10 would recommend this bag in any color. Empty weight was negligible (a few oz) and the overall accessibility of gear was top notch. Review: Love love love! - This bag is awesome! I got it for a trip and decided to break it in and get used to it before we go. This is my summer bag for life! I really feel like it will last for life too. I am trying to pick out which pattern and am afraid some will really show dirt.** A: I have had my kavu pack for over a year now. I regret picking a design that had the ink blot pattern on the bottom. So mainly white. I used to have to hand was my bag once a month. Just dish soap and a fingernail brush. But washes up great like new. Around six months ago I water proofed it using camp dry and I now barely have to wash it ever. Repels dirt like a dream. **Q: Can it be worn comfortably on your left shoulder?** A: NO, this bag is meant to be worn on the right shoulder. I just got one because I believed it could be worn either way. It doesn't lay on my back the way it's supposed to because of how the strap is attached at the bottom of the bag. The only way to wear it on the left shoulder is if you wear the pack on your chest and not your back. **Q: How big is it?** A: One of the side pockets is big enough to easily fit an iPad. The second sidepocket is large enough for a large wallet and a few other smaller items. **Q: I see these are offered in 100% cotton or 100% polyester - which is more comfortable? Is there padding so your items don't dig into your back?** A: My bag is polyester. I went to a local store to compare the two . I prefer the polyester it appears to be more water resistant and the cotton seems very stiff to me.
