Bright Nickel Brush Plating Solution. This brush plating Nickel solution is applied using our normal sleeves and a pure nickel anode. Plate at 3-4 volts.

Review: Great stuff that actually works very well! - I was going to make my own solution, but opted to buy this instead. I never done electroplating before. Knew next to nothing about it. I went to this product's website and looked through their catalog and their tutorial videos. I ended up buying their electro-cleaner and surface prep, as they recommended using it to prep your parts before nickel plating. Few seconds in those cleaners and about 1 minute in the nickel plating solution and poof, my parts came out like a mirror. The little rough marks are from manual lathe work. These are copper parts that I mirror polished prior to plating. I stuck a piece of tape to the side and pulled it to make sure the bond was strong, and no issues at all! Super easy to do, pretty quick, and now I hopefully wont become too addicted to plating anything I touch haha!

- *Aluminum - Bare aluminum cannot be plated onto with this solutions. Our Bright Nickel will plate onto most types of metal, however, trying to plate onto bare aluminum with our solutions will not work. Aluminum requires a specialized under-plate process that is not suitable for consumer level plating operations. This process must be performed on an industrial level by trained professionals. Any attempts to plate onto bare aluminum with this products will not work.

**Q: Is this product cyanide free?**
A: Yes it is.

**Q: I'm want to replating previusly nickel plated zinc alloy pieces (musical instrument) ... It is necessary to stripp old nickel plating? How?**
A: I would say ‘strip it clean’. However, if this is your first experience with plating, I would suggest experimenting with some similar pieces. This can help you decide how to get the finish you’re expecting. Good Luck!

**Q: Does this stuff lose its effectiveness as it is used or is it's usability unlimited so long as you replenish the nickel?**
A: I'm not sure I havent used it enough but I have done plating before and more you use it the less it's a affective

**Q: What else is needed to use it?**
A: This solution requires a Nickel Anode and the proper electroplating equipment such as the Universal Plater.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ White flakes in bottom of jar(?)

Unlike other solutions I've tried, this one came with some strange, white-ish, almost sparkly crystals in the bottom of the container. Shaking it disperses them but minutes later, they all fall back to the bottom. I think I can use a syringe to transfer the good, green solution to another container without grabbing any of this mystery pollutant. If anyone knows what this stuff is or if it's supposed to be there, I'd like to hear. As I use a heated, stirring plate to my electroplating, leaving this stuff in the solution would certainly cause bonding consistency issues.
