It was super easy to install if you are into reading directions, is definitely waterproof but placing it down in a way that covers all nooks and crannies take some practice. My puppy had a few accidents and most stayed in the liner but some did leave through under it into the removable mats and a little liquid into the spare tire tools area hidden under no biggie and much more easier than towels and puppy pads. The stitching is a bit weak, but the price is great and I don’t mind sewing. I think it happened because I had it on too tight and I should have left some slack with the suction cups. I think this was great and I have been using it more than my large back seat cover up that I used to have with my cats when I travelled and they needed a break from their travel box. They did a number on my back seat but never had accidents, but they are clean and wise cats so for this six month puppy from the pound I had to my lower expectations.
