Other reviewers have most commonly pointed out two issues:1. These are too loose for the cables. That is absolutely not the case in my experience. In fact, I had to quite literally twist these on and into place and they do not move once in place. Yes, I used these on brake cabling, but I also put one on shifting cabling and while easier to put on, they were most certainly not loose.2. These are overpriced and donut o rings work better. First of all, at the add on price, there are actually cheaper than any o rings you can get on Amazon, short of ordering from China and waiting for a month or more. Sure, if you have an LBS that's near, you can likely get o rings for free or nearly free, but if not, these are a better bet than ordering o rings be themselves. With that said, again, these definitely are a little more effort to install than o rings, but not obscenely so.In short, these are cheap, look decent, and work well. They do require a little effort to install, but won't take more than 5 minutes or so.
