I've always struggled to use my Japanese mother's method: sandwich between two cutting boards, one end elevated, heavy can on top. The can invariably falls off as the tofu gets compressed, leaving a big mess. This happens multiple times. With this great invention, I just have to remember to periodically tighten the screws. Result: really dense tofu that soaks up whatever marinade or sauce you want to use. Highly recommended! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excelent tofu press *by A***R on Reviewed in the United States on April 24, 2021* This is why I gave this 5 stars: it's made of high density plastic, kind of like the stuff that cutting boards are made of, it's easy to clean, all the hardware is stainless (or so they say, time will tell) it has springs above and below the top board and finialy it doss a nice job of squeezing the water out of the tofu. The company came out with a 4 screw model but honestly I think that was completely unnecessary.
