In principle you do not need to be very handy to do this but make sure to have the right tools.I highly recommend doing a good paint job (1 coat primer, 2 + coats of paint) with kits found throughout the net that match the original color of your Sienna.Had to replace both handles on a Sienna and found them both satisfactory replacements. Some of the internals of the handles do look cheap but are functionally sound. Overall quality comparable to OEM. Have been using these replacements for almost a year.After replacing the handles I suggest taking a few more minutes adjusting the door - with the door panel removed it requires a little bit of trial and error adjusting the multiple cables that secure the door. If only one of the approximately 3 cables is off the door may seem to open but won't. Pulling incessantly on the exterior handle or repeatedly pressing the interior unlocking mechanism will not make it better - trust me. I wish I would have done this from the beginning. Over time you may need to repeat this procedure when the door seems difficult to open. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Worked fine. *by T***A on Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on November 9, 2017* So, these come from China... I'm not bickering about Chinese craftmanship, because they seem to be pretty well-made for what they are... The OEM snapped like toothpicks, so if these last a year, I'll be satisfied. These were literally shipped from China. They took a long time to get here.That being said, there was in fact only 1 item in each package. I ordered 2 because reviews were mixed about quantity and both handles needed replaced - I didn't want to chance only receiving 1 and having to do it all over.The finish was a matte black that would be easy to paint, but with replacing EVERY handle on this pos sienna, the all black handles on white van do not look bad.There are no instructions included in the package, which should not be a deal-breaker. There are 100s (not exaggerating here, pos sienna doors) of videos on youtube about replacing these. ### ⭐⭐ Didn't work, so I had to fix it *by D***S on Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on April 7, 2017* I installed this in less than 15 minutes, including a quick fix. The mechanism doesn't have enough travel to pull the cable enough to fully unlatch and open the door. I thought I was ingenious by moving the cable housing forward and clipping it in to allow an easier open. Everything was great and worked fine...until I locked the car and put away my tools. The next morning, we took the kids to school and that door wouldn't unlock or open from inside or out. When I adjusted the cable forward, it prevented the unlock mechanism from working. The next night I put the cable in the proper place and it allowed the door to lock, but it would not unlatch to open the door. It gave the first open, but got caught on the second latch (like a door not fully closed).The way I fixed it was to fold a piece of foil and put it inside the flat metal loop...before the far side of the cable. The extra 1/16th of an inch allowed the pull to come farther and fully unlatch the door.The handle is light weight and extremely glossy, unlike our previous replacement handle (which we prefer as a smooth matte). Now I know the difference between a $11 replacement and one which is $20.I'm getting very efficient at replacing Toyota door handles. I wish the originals weren't such cheap plastic.
