Having this cube has been wonderful so far!I love the variety of different instruments to fiddle with.Just for an example: on 1 side, there are 4 buttons. But 2 of the buttons click, 2 of the buttons are silent.Personally I like the clicks. They're satisfying to me, but it could annoy others. (Like someone clicking a pen over and over) I love that there is a silent option! It seems the company was mindful that many of the people using this could have audio sensitivity, but also crave different textures/sensory input.The materials feel like they are good quality, and my experience with Chuchik Toys has been amazing!Highly recommend! ### ⭐⭐ Pretty meh... *by D***N on August 3, 2020* Didn't quite know what to expect when purchasing, so thought I'd help some other folks out. I'm an adult with autism, so I had lots of questions that weren't answered in the description. I'll go through the device one component at a time for anyone looking for this level of detail.I've used this item about 3 hours. These are my impressions so far. YMMVCasing: Slightly rubberized plastic. Not slick, but not "grippy". Think of a vinylized or cheap, fake leather texture.Joystick: Main reason I bought the device. Don't try to compare the feel of this to any video game controller. The closest would be an N64, but even then I would have to say this is more "primitive". The thumbpad has a slick, PVC-feeling. This is attached to a metal rod assembly with a ball on the end trapped in a plastic housing. There is no downward click (L3/R3 on modern controllers), though placing fingertips under the bottom of the thumbpad and pulling it out produces a satisfying back and forth tick-tack sensation, producing an audible click, about as loud as a pen click. Initially there was a subtle feel of shallow, octagonal corners (hence the reference to the N64 controller), but this has already worn away. At this point the unit started to squeak. I've lubed it with 3-in-one oil, which has eliminated this.On/off switch: Loudest of all the mechanisms on the cube. Very little resistance, so no satisfying seating of the positions. Also slick plastic. During intial use this part also started squeaking, 3-in-one oil resolved this initially, but it came back quickly.Lock-style wheels: Don't be fooled. No resistance, though they don't spin free. Very little of the clicky, seating of each setting felt in luggage locks and the like, which was lost after an hour or so. Ignore the visual similarity. These are just 3 small wheels to spin on a smooth axle.Circle-faced wheel: Ugh. The cheapest-feeling face. It's a thin, light weight, nickel sized piece of plastic trapped under the housing that you can spin. No feel or sensation to it. Doesn't have any momentum or spin on it's own. It's just "there".Four button face: Baffling. Two of the four buttons are clicky, similar to a pen click (including sound) with less travel, while the other two are mushy and silent. The pairs are diagonal from each other, instead of side by side, which bothers me more than it probably should. Again, autism.Bottom (?): This is literally just a razor thin piece of rubber with barely-there nubby texture. It does nothing. I assume it was put here and not given any utility so it can be a flat surface to place the cube down on, hence me assuming it is the bottom.Overall, this is Chinese junk, though better than nothing. Still, between the sounds of the more satisfying bits being noticably noisy, and the rest being unsatisfying (except maybe the joystick), you may as well just carry a clicky pen around with you. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Useful but small and hard to hold... *by E*** on November 2, 2020* Maybe my hands are too big but I found this hard to use. The outside is also straight plastic so its a bit hard to hold onto.
