Hand Woven on the beautiful hills and valleys of Rwanda by local female artisans, this stunning basket comes in unique colors and patterns. For this pure handmade we use locally grown grasses such as sisal and sweet grass. Sisal fiber is extracted from the plant, hand-dyed and weaved - starting from the middle of the basket - with ability and patience around the sweet grass. Depending on design complexity, it takes two to three days to create this work of art. Each basket has a loop on the back, making it easy to hang on a wall. For use, you can mix them for an awesome wall basket collage, entryway bowl, as a table or furniture display or as a gift (definitely a hit of a gift). You will receive the basket exactly in the colors shown in the picture. Approximately 11-12" Diameter x 3-3.5" Height and 1.2 lb Weight. Handmade from Africa. Authentic & Unique.
