The game itself... Well, in my opinion it's OK. I feel it's extremely offense based like Pokemon (much faster though) with very few defensive options (most of which are random - your 'shield cards' might possibly contain an ability that helps you when they're attacked) and from what I've played the matches don't last very long at all. I've had one go as quickly as 5 turns and I've had one go up to 15... nothing longer yet. I personally feel Magic and YuGiOh have more flexibility to be defensive or offensive and there is more of a theme of protecting yourself through monsters or magic and not protecting yourself by killing their monsters before they can attack you (when you could just attack them directly each turn and win if they don't have a shield monster out) But, I'm rating this as a product and as a that it is top notch. If you were a fan of Dual Masters or the cellphone game "ShadowEra" you'll love this. It still works out well, the rules are very clear and you don't have ridiculous chains you have to sort out like in Magic. If you're interested in the package but not sure about the game go to the official KaiJudo website and try out their web version of it. Even if I don't play KaiJudo in the long run or invest more money into it, I am still very satisfied with the purchase, recommend it for people looking to try a new card game, and I will probably continue to use the deck boxes for a while - they just look and feel so nice.
