The shampoo is strong enough to completely wash away all oils with one application (super rare for me, especially if it's been 2 or 3 days since my last wash) and it doesn't leave my hair stripped of its natural oils. The scent is soooo lovely, like gingerbread. It works up a good lather and it's a great price. The conditioner is thick and leaves my hair nice and soft. It smells, to me, close to a pumpkin spice latte and it goes well with my pumpkin cupcake from Bath and BodyWorks. Ok, down to business. Shipping was fast but the cap on the conditioner was cracked. First use, lathers nicely and rinces out easily. I always wash (lather) my hair twice, even after the 2nd lather and rinse.. my hair was not squeaky like harsher shampoos will do. My hair is definitely clean but it doesn't strip it right down, which is great for weak brittle hair. The conditioner is nice and thick, so you don't have to worry about losing any getting it from bottle to hand to hair. I was in a hurry so I only left the conditioner in for maybe 2-3 min, if even that long. It rinses out easily and leaves your hair feeling silky. Brushing my hair, I used a pea sized amount of the conditioner in my towel dried hair making brushing out tangles a breeze.
