I thought this ring closely resembled my real ring, but my memory is starting to fade of what my real ring looked like. When I first got this cheaper ring, I initially really liked it somewhat. I did not realize how big the band itself would be and I find it quite BIG! Also, I read other reviews prior to ordering it and several reviews said to buy bigger size than what you normally wear. But I do not find that to be the case. I believe I normally wear a 7- or 7-1/2 size ring so I ordered a size 8 - and it is way too big. Both rings slide around when I'm wearing it and seldom are the rings aligned, as they are suppose to be. Since the band is bigger than I thought and the ring in general is bigger than my finger, the more I wear it and look at it, I feel like people will be able to tell that it is fake. When I first showed it to my husband he thought it was beautiful and that it did in fact look like my other ring, somewhat.At this point, a week after having it, I am thinking of returning the ring set and just keep looking for something else. The other day I ordered another ring that was 3x the cost as this ring and failed to notice that it was a 'promise ring' and it does not go with my band or diamond anniversary band - looks real awkward. So, I do not know what I'm going to do.Overall, the 'diamonds' do not look too fake, the gold appears gold-like and not 'rose' tinted at all, nor does it look "brassy". Maybe I will just exchange it for a smaller size and see if I like that. I feel like I've looked at thousands of rings. At some point I'd like to get it fixed so I needed an interim step. Bought this along with several others, and found that the size on this is perfect and makes it look very natural, as compared to some of the other ones where the stone was ginormous and obviously fake.The stones are sparkly. I have worn this ever since it arrived through showers, swims etc. and the metal still looks great. There are no rough edges to snag on hose or sweaters. Very happy with the purchase.Update: So i've been wearing it daily since I bought it, and now, although the stones are still sparkly, the "gold" has worn off and it's no longer yellow but kinda chrome looking.
