It looks like an oil slick yet it peels at the same time. This does a decent job of keeping me from being flaky. I don't think it helps with oiliness much, though. Truth be told, I can't seem to find a product that does anything to control my oil production. There is virtually no smell to the product which I like for my sensitive skin. Unfortunately my bottle arrived and some had leaked out during shipping so I didn't quite get my money's worth.
