She's a tall 6 yr old normally wears a 7/8 but this dress runs small so go with a size bigger 140; thats what I did and it fit perfect. It hits the floor so I purchased a hoop skirt to go under it and cut the bottom row off the hoop skirt it lifted it perfect and it wasnt too big for her to manage walking with once I cut the 3rd row off the hoop skirt. I didnt have to make any adjustments to the dress!
