If you want to double check there is an 800 number on the bottle **Q: Is this the Black Cohosh extract at 40mg?** A: I ordered Black Cohosh Root, by Natures Way, 180 Capsules, Certified 540mg, 1 capsule 3 time daily preferably with a meal. **Q: Do the pills give you any kind of after taste?** A: There is a very slight smell/taste while they are in your mouth, but I would say even that it is gone after the glass of water. Because I am taking other supplements besides Nature's Way Black Cohosh Root I am drinking a full 8oz glass of water. Even if it were bitter I would take it! I know that my FREEDOM from hot flashes and night sweats would be worth a little bitterness.
