Given the reviews, I ordered a medium. When I opened the package and looked at the sweater, my first thought was that this looked small. (small around the middle and short length) I tried it on and it was small/snug on the arms/had to stretch to button down sweater; however, the stitching on the shoulders indicated that the sweater might be a bit too large. (the stitching went down my shoulders a bit). If I had ordered a large, it would have been too big at the shoulders but probably would have fit me on the rest. My review gives the sweater a 3/5 given the above. Given that I do not like to return items, I am going to keep it as I believe it might stretch out a bit (the arms) and will try to stretch out the length. The material is well made and good quality, it’s soft too. Lightweight as well. I bought a small because I don’t button up my cardigans with dresses. And it fit as expected. It wasn’t tight either, it has a good stretch. I normally wear size Medium or large clothing.
