    Ligature screw is hard to tighten.

Love the sound. Hate the screw to tighten the reed. It's grindy and hard to tighten securely. Because of the shape of the mouthpiece you can't replace it with a different ligature. The metal mechanism just below the screw shifts position when you try and tighten the screw so that it is not aligned with the reed.

I am the saxophone soloist for a band and needed a metal mouthpiece for the kind of music we were playing. This mouthpiece has to be at a specific part of the cork and at that point it is extremely out of tune. Also, the mouthpiece sounds airy, and the reed is too big for it. Over all, a terrible experience with it and a waste of 300$. All it will do now is act as a decoration on my shelf.

Mayne, the sound that I'm getting is on point...I had a metal mouthpiece for my alto and it was closing off and the metal felt cold and hard...I swore from using them anymore...so let's take a chance for a new feel and sound...great so far...haven't ventured into the altissimo yet but, bring it
