It works for my hair type which is 3a and 3b curls that has alot of volume. The satin is very soft and the stretch of the scrunchie is wonderful. The only downside is that the scrunchies are bigger than normal scrunchies. So if you have thin hair and you are putting it up in a bun consider putting two in.
