The phone has been dropped a dozen times or so, with no damage to the phone at all. Recently, the phone took a bad fall onto a tile floor. The case shattered in two places -- but the phone remained undamaged. Basically, the case absorbed the energy from the hit, and protected the phone completely. I immediately ordered a new case.The case looks cool, is well fit to the phone, and allows full access to all ports and buttons without removing the case. The kickstand works well, and allows two angles of view, depending on which way you turn the phone, but I don't use that feature much.One downside: This is a thick case. It comes in two parts: a soft, flexible rubber that encases the phone, and a harder plastic shell. I've removed the case a couple of times to allow the phone to fit in an evening bag.If you need a really slim phone, this isn't your case. Such as: protects the phone well if it's dropped because it's durable enough to withstand drops, it has a kickstand, it's not bulky so it doesn't hinder the use of the phone at all, and it's texture on the back of the phone provides a lot of grip which really helps with holding onto the phone with one hand while trying to multi-task. This case is everything I wanted and more !! The thin profile feels.comfortable in my hand and the snug fit gives me a sense of confidence that the phone won't slip out. The kick stand is a nice touch placing the phone in a landscape orientation to watch vids, some folks may prefer a duel stand,but it workes fine for me .
