I just installed them at 30K in my 500L and what I pulled out were NGK SIKR9A7. They did show some wear, and signs of arcing between the ceramic insulator and the thread body. I've never changed plugs of this type (special alloy) so soon, but on this high output engine, I believe they will need to be changed every 30k as the manual states. The gap was set correct from the factory, so I just used anti-seize and they went with ease. If fact, changing the plugs is quicker and easier than changing the oil! The only little obstacle was the crank case pipe. Just a quick pinch of the hose clamp, pop it off and the first coil is ready to remove. The other 3 are unobstructed. If you are reading this and thinking of changing your plugs, order these plugs, anti-seize and go for it. I was skeptical, but after I removed the first plug, it was obvious they were correct with the 30K mark. the car did idle like new, super smooth and it seemed to start up quicker and have a little more pep.
