M is much better, though the ankle is still a little loose. It is not super hot, especially when in the sun, thanks to the color, and it is super breathable. Definitely recommend this product for whole leg compression.Background if it is helpful...I had a tib/fib open fracture and a IM nail was placed in the tibia. The nail was inserted through my knee so it has been swelling as well as the leg. Once I was cleared to walk, I needed a pretty high level of compression to keep swelling controlled. I have now worn these leggings for almost a week straight that would be 5 days total not taking them off have slept in them have worked in them have moved in them have done yoga in them they require occasional adjusting. Durable comfortable wish it came in better styles. Fit slightly as expected did not expect it to go around my fat thighs too easily.
