Yes they will get scuffed up. However if you’re a beginner or beginning again like myself these are perfect. They’re not as expensive as the Lollies and skates are bound to get beat up. (Scuffs=battle wounds). Any way. These skates were a bit stiff since they are a vinyl boot but they did break in and provide good ankle support. They come with cute pink outdoor wheels that get the job done for outdoor skating. After I got a bit more comfortable on them I did upgrade to moxi juicy wheels. I get tons of compliments on these and love the style. The pattern did scratch off a bit after a couple of really rough falls, so I wear toe caps to help keep them looking new. I don’t regret this purchase at all and love these skates.
