**Q: My rat trap disappeared. How and why?**
A: If you had this trap outside, you probably got a larger animal, or a larger rodent by the leg and dragged it off, if the trap comes down on their head, they are done. I had one go missing as well. Did get rid of my problem. Try to secure the trap in an area so it can't be dragged off. Also another  instance, you may have trapped your rodent and another animal picked it up to eat it and dragged it off.

**Q: How many pounds of pressure does this trap close with**
A: Don’t know how many pounds of pressure but this trap catches large rats as well as small ones. Great product

**Q: where is this made from? i don’t want anything made from china!**
A: Not sure but they don’t work too good.

**Q: can I buy more bait cups?**
A: I can't answer your question but I would suggest not using the bait cups.  Just smear a little peanut butter or put a piece of a hot dog on the trap.

Glove up before handling the traps. Use attractive bait. Strategically place traps. Rebait and reposition traps as needed. And they will kill small to large rats with swift finality, and easy release of dead rodent.Much easier to use these style traps (vs the old fashioned wood Victor style traps that are scary to set).The bait cup on the bottom is easy to take out, clean out and refill, and reinsert.Setting the trap can be done with foot or a strong hand.Disposal of caught rodent is easy due to large piece to handle that's away from dead rodent, and then slight squeeze on the not-the-snap side to release the dead rodent from the trap.Highly recommend!

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Amazing traps

I just want to say that these traps are amazing we set four of them in different areas of the house and we have caught 4 rats in about two hits if having them set up we live next to an open field so yeah I must say thus is the best thing I have found to help with our rat and nice problem will buy again

### ⭐ Didn't Kill the Rat

I was finishing up in the garage and I heard something saying “unhh, unhh, unhhh.” Under the workbench I and saw a rat with its head in a trap. The trap should have killed it but didn’t. It was moving around and in pain.I got some gloves and took the trap. When I picked up the trap, the jaws released and the rat got away. We chased it along the wall of the garage. it tried to stay hidden and we kept moving it toward the open garage door.The garage was filled with tools, wood, and a huge mirror box that had pictures in it. I moved everything outside. The wall had peg board on it and there was a a two inch gap at the bottom. The rats tail would sometimes sick out but I couldn’t grab it.I put an Amazon box outside the garage entrance, got a stick and herded the rat outside. I hoped that it would run away but it ran into the box. I closed the top of the box and put a piece of wood on it. I didn’t know what to do. It was injured so I decided to euthanize it.The internet is filled all kinds of great information. When I googled killing a rat, they said to gas it. I made a gas chamber using an empty yogurt container and poured baking soda in. I grabbed the rat by the tail and dropped it in and then poured in vinegar. I closed the lid. The vinegar and baking soda made CO2. It was terrible. The rat's little feet were moving and then eventually the slowed and then stopped. I put the closed yogurt container in two plastic bags and put in the garbage.I am furious that the rat trap didn’t work. I should have taken the rat and the trap and overnighted it to the people who sold it so they could deal with rat and figure out why the trap didn't work.
