What I received was either black or off black. So the color was very jarring.The style of the wig is pretty, but personally I couldn't just shake and go. Washed it and thought it looked dark, but wore it to work on Tuesday. The way the hair lays on my shoulders and neck, it constantly separated. So I was constantly working with it. Since it isn't my color, I had to wait until the weekend to "update my hairstyle."The "anywhere you want it" part is awesome. It will show your natural scalp or wig cap. I wore a cream color wig cap and it was just fine.
