They love it! They love to jump in and out and hide on the inside, plus the pun of being a bunny inside a banana is just hilarious. You’ll definitely need to bring it back to shape as it ships inside a box and it looks a bit squished, but in time it will come to it’s normal shape. Perhaps she needed some time to bond with the bananas 🤣 needless to say they are still holding their own as a product and I believe it is a sound purchase even if these bananas cannot assist with potassium levels!Okay, so if you know the banana-fan-a song then kudos to you!!!! The scoop on this contraption is •ITS ADORABLE but that being said I ordered two both large - We have three cats none of which wanted anything to do with this banana (until I laced the inside with catnip). Our youngest Gwenovere jumped in and played in the cat nip and jumped out- they’re not impressed in the least. However the product seems fairly well made, the large will NOT house an extra large cat and perhaps not even a large cat, but they’re pretty spacious. The banana flips over easily and I did have to machine wash one (didn’t read the instructions to see if that’s recommend) but it came out of the washer and dryer intact except the banana lid foam got rotated and it sticks up. The lid for the banana has a square Velcro to adhere to the top keeping the banana open- and that seems to be sufficient. I would not buy again as none of our cats seem interested but had they enjoyed their new fruit house I would have probably entertained getting another one or two.We also noticed if you slip your feet in each one they resemble banannaslippers for perhaps a giant - so if you know anyone needing that this product can transform pretty quickly.I had the camera ready and actually got a shot of the one time Gwen went into her banana house .The product seems to be everything it says it is. (Which is a relief) why not try it out ? ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Cute _and_ useful *by S***R on Reviewed in the United States on February 1, 2021* First off, I got the large for my 10 pound cat. I would say that this size is appropriate for cats between about 8 and 12 pounds. Larger cats will probably fit but won't have as much room to get comfortable. Smaller cats will obviously fit but may not feel as cozy and warm. Of course, kittens will likely grow into it easily. It was packaged in a plastic bag so it was a little crushed but a little folding and creasing had it close to its intended shape in a couple of minutes. The hold-open hook-and-loop fastener does hold the flap open but it is so small it requires two hands to fasten. A 4-6 times larger patch (2"×2" or 3" instead of barely 1"×1") would have been much better. Is Velcro really all that expensive? I may sew a larger patch on myself later on.Ok, on to the important part, the cat's take:At first, my 10 month old cat just wanted to wrestle, kick, and bite the banana bed. Once she calmed down a bit after some of the new wore off, I carefully put her inside the bed while holding it in my lap as I sat. She immediately burrowed head first all the way into it then reversed, curled up, and promptly closed her eyes for a nap. She really likes having the flap closed and slightly tucked in at the tip. She stays very warm inside the bed and has taken two hour-plus naps in it on the first day.
