A tip for assembly; don't tighten the nuts that fasten the bracket to the stand fully until you've got everything lined up.

Thanks to other reviews, I had a small hammer and block ready to tap out the platform bolt to fit it. Very simple to do. I bought this to use with the indoor bike trainer to hold the laptop for Swift. So it's perfect and very adjustable and packs away tidily. The only drawback is my old laptop is very wide with a curved base so is overall wider than the 35cm wide platform. But this is easy to remedy with a soft tile under it as it's remaining level in use Considerably cheaper, more versatile and compact than a cycling specific table. The stand is very safe as it's weight keeps it stable with a wide base.

High quality, especially considering the price. Easy to assemble and easy to adjust. I use this for keeping my laptop at a more comfortable height during video calls.
