I have a Jeep Patriot so my back seats don't have the head rest you can loop the second strap under, but this mirror still works because it has a 360 degree joint in the back that clicks into place. It's nice and wide and my toddler can even see herself and has fun with that especially when singing songs in the back. The window cling shades that come with it are great too and I use the sticky pad to place my phone/sunglasses. It's a great buy. I even bought a second one because I have another baby on the way and my first kid still needs to be rear facing.
