I'm a big guy with wide feet and have always found it hard to find good boots that fit and are extremely comfortable. When I first got these I was in love with them. I have worn them 5 days a week, 8 hours a day for over 5 months. The padding/insulation and construction are very supportive. The zippers is great, I did not think I would like it but I ended up using and enjoying the easy of taking them off and putting them on. My feet just slip in, zip up, and I'm ready to go. I am an auto shop teacher and wear them to work everyday. I have worn them in wet weather, mud and dirt, and hiking. They have become my everyday shoes. The insoles pull out to be washed if needed. They have no odor. The boots are kinda quilted inside and resist moisture very well. I don't shy away from water, I use snow shield on my boots since I was a boy. Needless to say I have never had problems with rain or water. The boots have softened to fit my feet very well. Ironically, I've never had boots with soles that don't wear down, until these. I'm glad I found these. I hope they don't change them. The only thing that I would change is the snaps, they do not work well and snap open constantly. I wish that they would have Velcro straps instead, I have a pair of shoes with a Velcro strap at the top of the shoe that worked perfectly all the time.
