Review: A difficult read unless the reader is patient - I love historical gaming so I bought this book only to find out that the font and writing is very difficult to read. I would not recommend this to anyone unless they have more patience than I do and I am a very patient person.

Thought it was about lawn bowls but there was a lot on cricket and tennis which he has no interest in. He said there was a lot of advertising for spalding but the small bit about lawn bowls was interesting but he says the rules have changed since this book was issued.

I love historical gaming so I bought this book only to find out that the font and writing is very difficult to read. I would not recommend this to anyone unless they have more patience than I do and I am a very patient person.
