The smell is nice yet light. I used to use it for diapers. Then when we went off diapers, I continued buying them for hanging in the bathrooms or placing them in small trash canisters. I use them to line trash canisters we have in the bedrooms that we throw food wrappers or used tissues, or any items in. You get a good bang for your buck when buying this product. When I came back to buy a new box, I didn't bother seeing what else was out there that was cheaper or even better because I like these little bags just fine!One trick I use is double bagging poopy diapers by placing a diaper in one bag and tying the handles. Then I place that bag upside down into a second bag and tie the handles.
