I left it in the sun (26degree heat no clouds) for 5 hours and checked on it throughout the day to ensure it wasnt over heating. The green light came in to say it was charging but when I tired to charge my phone or anything else it was empty of charge.This device charges up only when plugged into the wall. Very disapointed and now left without a rechargable charger for my trip :( ### ⭐⭐⭐ Solar charging function did not work for me *by T***N on 24 April 2019* I bought this item to go trekking to ensure that I could charge my camera. I had it clipped to my backpack all day, on a beautiful sunny day, but upon connecting to an electronic device, nothing happened.There are many good reviews of this item which is why I bought it so perhaps mine was just faulty. The vendor did give me a full refund.It does work as a power pack. You can charge it in the wall and then charge your devices. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Good as a charger, not so much solar *by A***R on 12 June 2019* As a normal charger, it works perfectly and you get a few good charges out of it before it runs out. However as a solar charger it is practically useless.
