Top quality glass. It feel heavy and sturdy. I got another one as soon as i got my first one. I already recommended it to all my friends. This product is amazing. Lol will never complain about about does again. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Canlock Vacuum seal works, bought, tested, and proved itself *by H***A on Reviewed in the United States on March 19, 2019* I needed something to keep my stash fresh. I also needed to make sure that this product was working. Light bulb. Let’s test it out on Flaming Hot Cheetos. The problem with hot Cheetos is that after 2-3 days of opening the bag the chips go stale. So what I did was open a fresh bag of hot Cheetos, stashed some in the canlock container, then pumped away at the vacuum seal button. I put the canlock away for 2 weeks while I had my open bag of hot Cheetos that got stale within 2 days. Fast forward 2 weeks later, I opened up the canlock and the Cheetos were still fresh like it was out of a fresh bag. Throughout the whole time I had the Cheetos in the canlock, I didn’t need to reapply and push the vacuum seal button. That is a plus for me and with less hassle. So yes this product is working. I recommend it if you are trying to keep a product vacuum sealed and fresh inside the Canlock. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Received warranty replacement & now it works great! *by H***H on Reviewed in the United States on May 30, 2019* 6/23/19 Update:Upgrading my review from 2 stars to 5 stars.The seller sent me a replacement unit under warranty (thanks) and this replacement unit works as advertised. It’s been over a week and the vacuum seal is still holding, unlike the first unit I received. I’m happy to say it’s working great! I plan to order more of these, now that I know it works.Btw, one thing I did notice with the replacement unit was that it was packaged much nicer than the original one I received. This made me realize the first unit I received might have been a prior customer return, because some of the inside packaging materials were missing in the original one I received compared to the replacement, plus the black vacuum cap on the original shipment was dirty compared to the replacement, which was perfectly pristine. (This might explain why the original one I received wasn’t working properly.)—————-——Original Review:I’ve used this vacuum jar for over a month now. No matter how careful I am to make sure the sealing gasket in the lid is clean and clear of any debris, my Canlock Jar only holds the vacuum for about a week at a time max.I keep having to pump up the jar each week. You can tell when the vacuum is gone by listening carefully for a “hiss” sound when you unseal the jar.The seller kindly reached out after I bought mine, so I asked them about this issue, and they sent me warranty info. But I saw I have to pay return postage to return the unit (even though I am a Prime member) which would probably cost half as much as the jar did. Coincidentally their return address is in the same zip code as my house so I asked if I could return it in person on my way home to save on return postage, but they said I could not.Not sure yet if I will pay the postage to return my unit, only to potentially receive another replacement unit that suffers from the same problem again, which means that I would have to pay return shipping a second time to return a defective replacement unit (this has actually happened to me before with something else I bought from a totally different unrelated seller online...frustrating.)In the end, I really wanted to love this very cool product - at first glance it’s sleek and nicely designed with a feeling of high quality, but if it can’t hold a vacuum for more than a week at a time, then it won’t work for me.I gave 2 stars instead of just one because the design is very nice and it was a good attempt to manufacture a very useful and unique device for customers.
