However, it works really well. I've always used those bent metal brushes on golden retrievers that seem to shed multiple dogs worth of hair. Those old ones load up, and struggle to get deep. This brush worked really well, and seemed to basically self shed clumps from the brush automatically. I'd occasionally need to use the button to push the hair off, and that also worked really well. It's made removing hair quick and less frustrating.
